dvdp was commissioned by the Central Government Real Estate Agency to design the transformation of the St. Annadal courthouse in Maastricht. The recently completed large project with the Public Prosecution Service and the Court as users, has an interior with a contemporary and distinctive character. The office spaces (for The Public Prosectuion Service according to the standards of the new way of working), the communal areas and the former chapel of the buidling have been redesigned according to the specific wishes of both groups. Important aspects of the assignment were the design of meeting places, the multifunctionality of the other rooms in the program, a clear spatial structure, transparent quality and a bright and chic atmosphere.
