When the highest point of the project on the Cruquiusweg has been reached, Amvest, dvdp and NewBouw have completed one of the last newbuild projects on the island, and the transformation of the entire island has almost been completed. In the center of the island, dvdp designed two building blocks in which two housing types are combined: 52 urban studios form the front of the project on the west, while 29 townhouses are situated in three rows on the residential street in the middle part of the ensemble and on the eastern pocket park. In this compact setting, space has also been found for a neighborhood supermarket, a parking garage and a substantial thermal storage system. Celebrating the highest point, designers and prospective residents met and looked forward to the day when the keys could be handed out.
