Commissioned by De Alliantie Ontwikkeling, dvdp is working on a major housing assignment in Hilversum. On the Lucent site, at the foot of the new headquarters of De Alliantie itself, in 2018 four apartment buildings with a total of approximately 120 social rental houses and a parking garage will be built. This will all take place in an urban setting of dvdp itself. The surrounding low-rise housing, which functions as a connection with the neighborhoods around the site, will be developed at a later stage. The city garden in which the buildings are located is created by Annemieke Diekman landscape architects. This project, together with the two transformation projects realized earlier, forms a high-profile ensemble in this Hilversum inner city context. The technical development and execution is in the hands of Dura Vermeer. View the project page here.
